#1 School in Palm Beach County for National Merit Scholars Semifinalists

The Class of 2026 has a total of 30 students who were named National Merit Scholars Semifinalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC)®.

American Heritage Schools’ Palm Beach Campus is celebrating a monumental achievement, ranking as the #1 school in Palm Beach County and the #2 school in all of Florida for having the most National Merit Scholar Semifinalists. This outstanding accomplishment means that an impressive 1 in 7 students from the Class of 2026 earned this prestigious recognition.

30 seniors from the campus were named National Merit Scholar Semifinalists, placing them among the top 1% of high school seniors nationwide. These high-achieving students are now set to compete for Merit Scholarship® awards. An additional 32 seniors were named National Commended Scholars, a title given to the top two-thirds of the 50,000 highest scorers on the PSAT/NMSQT.

American Heritage Schools continues its legacy of academic dominance, with the Broward and Palm Beach campuses holding the top two spots in Florida for the most National Merit Scholar Semifinalists. Combined, the two campuses account for a remarkable 9% of all National Merit Scholar Semifinalists in the entire state, solidifying the school's reputation for exceptional student achievement. Furthermore, 173 seniors were recognized under the College Board National Recognition Program, which includes National School Recognition, which recognizes students who score in the top 10% of their high school's test takers or score a 3+ on two or more distinct AP exams by 10th grade, and designation awards which honor students who are African American, Hispanic, Indigenous, or First-Generation.
