The Math Competition Team from American Heritage Schools, Palm Beach Campus, demonstrated its incredible depth at the 2026 Florida Association of Mu Alpha Theta (FAMAT) State Championship. Facing the highest tier of public and private mathematics programs from across the state, our student delegation captured the Third-Place Overall Sweepstakes trophy along with multiple individual state championships and high-tier team awards, securing our standing as the #2 K-12 Private school Math Team in the State of Florida.

Standardized Analytical Performance

The 2026 FAMAT State Championship serves as the definitive evaluation arena for advanced mathematics in Florida, testing students across multiple divisions categorized by course level: Mu (Calculus), Alpha (Pre-Calculus), Theta (Geometry/Algebra II), and Statistics. The rigorous tournament structure challenges participants across rapid-fire ciphering rounds, comprehensive individual examinations, and highly collaborative, timed team bowl events. Earning a podium position at the state level requires not only rapid calculation speeds but also an advanced mastery of theoretical and applied mathematics under intense time constraints.
