District 3 Junior High Thespian Awards:
  • 7 Superiors
  • 8 Excellents
  • One Act Play Superior Rating

A particularly noteworthy accomplishment for the Junior High Troupe was the Superior Rating received for their gripping One Act Play titled "Breaking Badly." This achievement qualifies their one-act play for potential performance at the annual Florida Junior Thespian State Festival.

Participation in the One Act competition demands strict adherence to general rules to maintain fair play and uphold the integrity of the event. The pre-show period involves detailed preparations, strict adherence to time limits, and the use of specified stock scenery. During the actual performance, participants must comply with rigorous rules regarding recording, backstage presence, set-up time, lighting, and sound. Adjudicators provide valuable written critiques, and their decisions are considered final.

The recognition underscores the hard work, dedication, and talent of these young thespians, who have not only excelled individually but also as a cohesive troupe. This success story of the Junior High Thespians is not only a celebration of their achievements but also a reminder of the importance of discipline and adherence to rules in the world of competitive theatre. American Heritage Schools, Palm Beach Campus, congratulates the Junior High Thespian Troupe 88410 on their remarkable achievements and wishes them continued success as they potentially advance to the Florida Junior Thespian State Festival.
