A round of applause and congratulations to the Student Council members who participated in the 2023 Southern Association of Student Councils (SASC) Annual Conference, ​hosted by Chapin High School, in ​Chapin, South Carolina. SASC, representing fifteen Southeastern states, has consistently been a platform for nurturing high school student leaders, fostering networking opportunities, and instilling the values of leadership and service. Through their dedication to service, outreach, and leadership, SASC participants have demonstrated the immense potential of our youth. Their achievements inspire us all to make a positive difference in the world.

This year, SASC witnessed outstanding accomplishments in various categories, with a 1st Place in Leadership Outreach/Community Service, a 3rd Place in School Service, and the Advisor of the Year award!

The Southern Association of Student Councils is an association of fifteen Southeastern states that provides high school and middle-level student leaders with networking opportunities, building leadership skills, sharing ideas, participating in service projects, and getting motivated to make a difference in their schools, communities, and in their own lives.
