Florida Orchestra Association (FOA) Music Performance Assessment 2022

Congratulations to our Orchestra students for their incredible performance at the Florida Orchestra Association (FOA) Music Performance Assessment! 🎼🎶

ALL solos and ensembles received a Superior rating and qualify to perform at the annual FMEA (Florida Music Educators Association) Convention in Tampa, FL, during the month of April 2022.

The performances included 2 violin solos, 1 viola solo, a Mixed String Duet of Harp and Violin, and a String Octet (2 violins, 2 violas, 2 cellos, 2 basses) with Superior ratings, and the Large String Ensemble received Superior w/ Distinction!

A Superior Rating is given to an outstanding performance with no serious flaws.

A Superior with Distinction is given to an outstanding performance with no serious flaws AND performed memorized.

What an amazing performance and execution by the students and Mr. Kevin Horan, Orchestra and Band Conductor. Congratulations to all!
