With over 20 students competing at the District 3 theater festival, our Junior Thespians Troupe did fabulous this year, earning 12 Superior Scores, 7 Excellent Scores, and Critics Choice One Act, among other recognitions.

 

Under the direction of Mr. Clay Cartland and Ms. Elyse Anderson, students participated in individual events in both performance and technical areas. The festival provides an opportunity for students to present under the performance category, including solo music, monologue, large and small group, and the technical category, including set design, scene writing, makeup design, and costume design. Thespians are scored by a panel of adjudicators and earn fair, good, excellent, or superior ratings for their presentations.
