Inter-Club Council Team Raises Nearly $5,000 for Walk to Defeat ALS
The Inter-Club Council (ICC) from American Heritage Schools, Palm Beach Campus, gathered students to participate in the annual Walk to Defeat ALS, showcasing their commitment to community service and fundraising for an important cause. Under the bright Florida sun, 100 Heritage students joined together for a morning filled with activities, food trucks, giveaways, and, most importantly, a shared mission to raise awareness and funds for ALS research.
The event was a remarkable success, with the ICC team emerging as the top fundraising school and securing the 8th-highest overall fundraising spot out of 34 participating teams. Together, they raised nearly $5,000, contributing to the impressive total of $153,460 raised during the walk.
Participation in the Walk to Defeat ALS has a significant impact on local communities, directly benefiting individuals and families affected by this devastating disease. Funds raised provide essential support through education, advocacy, support groups, and access to care. The efforts of the Inter-Club Council not only raised funds but also promoted awareness and hope for those living with ALS.
The American Heritage Schools community stands united in its mission to provide hope and support to those affected by ALS. We are immensely proud of our Stallions for their dedication and hard work in supporting this vital cause. Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, or supported our efforts. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those impacted by ALS.
If you would like to join the fight against ALS, consider participating in future walks or donating to our team. Every contribution helps provide resources and services to families in need, and together, we can bring hope and awareness to this urgent issue.
