Students from American Heritage Schools Broward and Palm Beach campuses achieved significant placements at the annual HOSA International Leadership Conference held in Indianapolis, Indiana. The event drew over 15,000 competitors from countries including China, South Korea, Canada, and India.

Representing the school's Pre-Med and Pre-Professional programs, these young scholars faced rigorous assessments across medical terminology, emergency preparedness, healthcare practicals, and academic testing. Because each competitive category featured hundreds of individual entrants, securing a spot on the international stage required deep technical knowledge and advanced clinical skills.

Beyond the Medical Competitions

Outside of the examination halls, the South Florida delegation took part in various educational and team-building experiences throughout Indianapolis. The itinerary included a group visit to the Indianapolis Zoo and a weekend excursion to the historic Indy 500 Racetrack, where students observed live track practice sessions and met drivers. Within the HOSA Expo, students engaged in international pin trading with peers, played pickleball, and participated in interactive networking events.
