1st & 3rd Places at National History Competition

The Varsity and Junior Varsity Academic Teams took the stage at the National History Bee and Bowl Competition in Arlington, Virginia.

Congratulations to Junior David Margaryan who earned 1st place in the Recent History Bee category and sophomore Jeffery Yu who earned 3rd place in the Physics Bee category. The Varsity Team qualified for the international competition.

JV Team: Amelia Sun 10th, Jeffrey Yu 10th, Sachin Katragadda 10th, Matthew Knigin 10th, Eli Levy 10th.

The High School National Championship is the marquee event for International Academic Competitions United States Division. The competition is held in late spring and features a wide variety of competitive events, including multiple buzzer competitions, team-based and individual events, and exams. Some of the best and brightest students come from across the country to compete in one of the premier academic championships nationwide.
