Another win for a young writer! American Heritage Schools, Palm Beach Campus, is excited to announce that 8th grader Kylie Frankel has secured Second Place in Drama Notebook’s Monologue Contest for September. This marks the fifth time Kylie has been honored and published on the Drama Notebook site for her original work.

Kylie's winning piece, titled “My Sister is a Colleague,” is a comedic monologue that cleverly compares the youngest sibling to an annoying coworker. The judges praised the writing, noting its originality, cleverness, and performance.

This recent recognition follows Kylie's history of success in the Drama Notebook writing competition, including a First Place win last year for her monologue, "Trust Me On This One." Her previously published works also include award-winning monologues like "All Because of an A-," "Horror Movies are Stupid," and "Trapped Without a Purpose."

Kylie’s consistent success in the monologue contest shows her exceptional ability to craft engaging narratives and compelling characters. We are proud to support the creative talents of students like Kylie in our writing and drama programs.
