7th Grader Wins First Place in Dramatic Writing Competition
Congratulations to Kylie Frankel, a talented 7th grader at American Heritage Schools, Palm Beach Campus, for earning First Place in the Drama Notebook Monologue Writing Competition! Kylie's award-winning monologue, "Trust Me On This One," explores the challenges of finding true friendships, showcasing her exceptional ability to capture deep emotions through creative writing.
This isn’t Kylie’s first time impressing the Drama Notebook community. She has published three other remarkable monologues:
- "Horror Movies are Stupid" (2nd Place Winner)
- "All Because of an A-" (3rd Place Winner)
- "Trapped Without a Purpose" (3rd Place Winner)
The Drama Notebook Monologue Writing Competition is a fantastic opportunity for young writers to develop their storytelling skills, learn to structure monologues, build compelling character arcs, and incorporate conflict and resolution. Winning entries are published monthly, adding to the world’s largest collection of free monologues for kids and teens.
Kylie’s success is a testament to her hard work and creativity, and we look forward to seeing what she accomplishes next. Congratulations, Kylie, on this well-deserved achievement!
