At the recent Sigma Xi Student Research Showcase, two students from our Palm Beach campus stood out among the competition, earning prestigious awards for their exemplary research presentations. Catherine Zhou showcased her exceptional talent by securing not just one, but two awards: Best in Design and Manufacturing, along with the top spot in the high school division. Additionally, Dishika Parikh's remarkable work was recognized with the Best in Engineering award. 
 
This online science communication competition provides a platform for students across academic levels to showcase their research skills and gain recognition for their contributions to their respective fields. Moreover, it serves as a valuable opportunity for students to develop crucial science communication skills that are essential for success in their future careers. By effectively presenting their research and engaging with judges and peers, students like Catherine and Dishika are not only building a strong foundation for their academic pursuits but also honing skills that will serve them well in their professional endeavors.
