41 Wins at State Business Competition

Future Business Leaders Dominate Statewide Competition

Over Spring Break, students from our Business Pre-Professional Program made a significant mark at the 2024 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference in Orlando. A total of 131 students from our Broward and Palm Beach campuses showcased their talents, competing in 73 categories across various business processes, functions, skills, and disciplines. Remarkably, 56 emerged as qualifiers, either individually or in teams, earning the opportunity to advance to Nationals in June.

Future Business Leaders Dominate Statewide Competition

FBLA attracts over 5,000 student competitors from across the state, making a top-four finish in any event a requirement for Nationals. Our students exhibited outstanding performance, securing 11 first-place awards, 10 second-place awards, 6 third-place awards, and 14 fourth-place awards. In some instances, our students even secured multiple top spots within an event! Notably, American Heritage now boasts the Region 5 Vice President position, marking a historic FIRST for our institution in holding a State office with FBLA. Amidst the intensity of the competition, our team also managed to infuse some fun into their journey with additional activities.
