A World-Class Education Close to Home
American Heritage Schools offers an International Day School Program for students from Pre-Kindergarten 3 through 12th grade. This program is designed for students who live locally but were born outside the United States and do not hold a U.S. passport or birth certificate.
Who Qualifies?
To enroll in the International Day School Program, students must meet specific residency or visa requirements:
- Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
- Approved Visas: Students may qualify if they hold one of the following visas or statuses:
- Employment Authorization Card (for those in the final stages of permanent residency approval)
- Employment Authorization Status (with I-797 form)
- L Visa
- EB5 Visa
- H1 Visa
- H4 Visa
- O Visa
- F Visa
Students must have an approved visa or visa status before they can be enrolled at American Heritage Schools. Additionally, it’s important to note that B-1 and B-2 visas are not accepted for enrollment.
Students who do not have an approved visa must request an I-20 form from the school, which is required to apply for an F-1 visa. Please note that American Heritage Schools can issue an I-20 only for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, and the F-1 visa applies solely to the student, not their parents.
Application Process
The application process for international day students is similar to that of other day students but requires careful attention to citizenship and visa documentation.
This program provides an inclusive, world-class education for international students who are residing in the United States, allowing them to integrate into our academic community and thrive.
