Boarding Program (9th-12th Grade): Ranked #11 Best Boarding High School in America, our Boarding Program offers international students a safe and immersive experience, living with vetted American Heritage families while receiving exceptional academic and personal support.
Day School Program (Pre-K3 - 12th Grade): Our International Day Student program is designed for students who live locally but were born outside the United States and do not hold a U.S. passport or birth certificate.

Submission Instructions

All international students must submit their required documents on our application portal. The admissions process will only proceed once all requirements have been properly completed. If you have any questions about the admissions process, please contact the admissions office.

International Requirements

Birth Certificate:
- Upload the original and the translated document notarized.
Student Questionnaire
Copy of the Applicant’s Passport
Report Cards:
- Upload official translated documents for the last three school years, including the current.
- Academic records must include every semester, quarter, or trimester.
Transcript (for any student with high school credits):
- A transcript is an official record summarizing a student's academic performance (and will go out to colleges).
Course by Course Evaluation (for any student with high school credits):
- Course-by-course evaluations are required for students hoping to transfer any high school credits earned at an international school.
- This will also assist students in completing any self-reported academic history (SSAR/STAR) required by the university to review candidacy.
Two Teacher Recommendation Letters:
- From current core class teachers (English, Math, Social Studies, or Science).
One Administrator Recommendation Letter:
- From the current principal, vice-principal, dean, or academic advisor. It CANNOT be a homeroom teacher.

Specific Situations

Parents are Divorced:
- A court-ordered divorce decree/custodial agreement must be provided by the family. The form needs to be notarized and translated into English.
- In case one parent has sole custody, there is no need for permission to attend school form. However, if both parents share custody, a notarized permission to attend school form signed by the parent that is NOT applying is mandatory.
Student Chooses to Stay with Relatives or in a Local Home Instead of Participating in the International Homestay Program:
- A guardianship form must be signed and notarized.
