American Heritage School Parents & Alumnus

Hello Families!

Thank you for your interest in American Heritage Schools. We are dedicated to preparing your child to be successful in college and beyond, and at American Heritage, we unlock the full potential of our students as they discover their passions and uncover hidden talents.

Our 2,800 students in PK3 through 12th grades represent over 60 different countries throughout the world; one out of three students is foreign born. Over 60% of the faculty holds an advanced degree, and the student to faculty ratio is 5 to 1.

Our 40-acre campus boasts specialized facilities, including a Center for the Arts, an Engineering & Prototyping Lab, two college-level biosafety level 2 Science Labs, a courtroom classroom, outdoor Environmental Education Center, courtyards, and athletic fields.

Every student uses an iPad, and in our Lower School, advanced courses are offered in all subjects, including ALEKS for accelerated students. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is incorporated into classroom learning in new state-of-the-art Science & Engineering and Innovation Labs; and a Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum enhances computer science instruction focusing on programming, creative thinking, student collaboration, and communication.

In our Upper School, over 300 courses are offered, including 136 honors classes, 28 Advanced Placement classes, and 75 fine arts classes. Pre-Professional Programs are offered in Pre-Med, Pre-Law, Pre-Engineering, Business & Entrepreneurship, Biomedical, Engineering, and Computer Science. Expert doctors, surgeons, lawyers, judges, engineers, and computer scientists teach classes daily, and students can explore career opportunities and experience college-level courses and internships not normally available in a high school setting.

We serve Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties in South Florida, and we offer free, nonstop Bus Transportation from many central locations.

If you would like to learn more about our campus and our nationally-recognized programs, please call to inquire and then set up a personal tour with one of our Admissions Directors at (954) 472-0022 at extension 1.

We look forward to meeting you soon!

Warm regards,
