The American Academy is a program within the American Heritage Schools. Children in The American Academy Program can be dual enrolled to fit their unique academic abilities. Additionally, children from The American Academy Program and American Heritage Schools take classes together in our extensive fine arts program and compete in the same sports programs.

Our staff of expert and highly experienced educators is completely dedicated to the success of each and every one of our students. Each child’s plan is customized to meet his or her unique needs, and our program carefully monitors student growth. It is important to us that our students gain confidence through success and truly realize the joy of learning.

The American Academy Program is on the same campus as American Heritage, so as students overcome their reading and math challenges, they may take classes at American Heritage. In addition to teaching the skills involved in reading and math comprehension our program focuses on executive functioning skills such as study skills and time management.  Frequently, students make the transition from The American Academy Program into Heritage classes full time, and it is always a joy for parents and faculty to see when that happens.

The American Academy Program has two locations in Broward (Plantation, FL) and Palm Beach (Delray Beach, FL). Families from throughout South Florida in Palm Beach County, Broward County, and Miami-Dade County, as well as from all over the United States and the world, attend our school.

We offer free express bus service to neighborhoods in Aventura, Miami Lakes, Sunny Isles, Miami, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Parkland, Boca Raton, Palm Beach, and Wellington.
