Young Mathletes Dominated November Competitions

Elementary and Middle School Mathletes from American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, achieved outstanding results throughout November, confirming the strong mathematical talent and academic excellence within the school. Our students demonstrated excellent focus and skill across multiple challenging regional and national math competitions.

Our students secured numerous top placements in major events:

Rickards Invitational Math Competition: Our 6th-grade honors students put on a commanding performance, with the Pre-Algebra Team ranking 1st Place overall. In the Individual Pre-Algebra Round, American Heritage swept the top five spots, led by 1st Place winner Maxwell Cohen. Students also performed well in the Individual Euclidean Open Round.
JLA Mini Mu Math Competition: Elementary students secured multiple top-ten finishes. Lincoln Sperry won 1st Place in Grade 5, and Kiara Gupta won 1st Place in Grade 6 (Pre-Algebra). Additionally, Nickola Hart won 1st Place in the Speed Math Competition, and Tyler Li won 1st Place in the Mental Math Competition.
Math Madness Elementary: For the first time, our 4th- and 5th-grade Elementary Mathletes advanced to the Semi-Finals of the national Math Madness competition, a significant achievement.
Mathleague.org November Qualifiers: American Heritage students dominated the individual grade qualifiers, winning 1st Place in every category presented: Jay Narang (Grade 4), Lincoln Sperry (Grade 5), and Kiara Gupta (Grade 6). In the Middle School November Qualifier, Zoey Ge won 1st Place in Grade 6.

Perfect Scores in Math Olympiads (MOEMS)

Several students achieved Perfect Scores in the first of five rounds for the Math Olympiads for Elementary and Middle School (MOEMS) Competition. Perfect scores were earned by Grade 4 student Jay Narang, and Grade 5 students Zivah Cohen, Angela Dietz, Alara Farooq, Nickola Hart, Ryan Kasturia, Tyler Li, Arjun Malhotra, and Lincoln Sperry. Middle School perfect scorers included Sophie Daee, Zoey Ge, Kiara Gupta, and Alexander Rausch.
