American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, achieved remarkable success at the 2024 International ICDC DECA Competition held in Anaheim, California. With approximately 240 competitors from around the globe in each event, merely qualifying for this prestigious competition is an outstanding accomplishment! Under the guidance of advisor Mrs. Heather Weissman, the DECA team proudly sent 41 participants, who showcased their knowledge and skillfulness in the fields of business and marketing and earned accolades and recognition on the international stage.

 

This year's competition saw exceptional performances, with seven finalists and two Top 20 placements for their exams or role plays. Notably, Timothy Kong and Anik Bora emerged as TOP 10 International Finalists, while Austin Klein, Max Kochkin, and Izzy Cipolla secured a spot in the TOP 20 International Finalists for their Project Management Business Solutions Project.

 

The Broward campus also celebrated the achievements of Hamza Mairajuddin, Romir Mohan, Sophia Kreimerman, and Haleh Afshani, who all earned recognition as TOP 20 International Finalists in their respective categories. Sophia Kreimerman's Exam Medal in Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making and Haleh Afshani's Role Play Medal in Business Services Marketing further exemplify the team's diverse talents and expertise.

 

Through rigorous preparation and a commitment to excellence, these students have demonstrated their ability to compete and succeed on a global platform. We applaud their achievements and look forward to witnessing their continued success in the world of business and beyond!
