The American Heritage Schools' Pre-Medical Society successfully concluded its annual three-part service initiative with a heartwarming holiday party for pediatric cancer patients at the Salah Foundation Children's Hospital at Broward Health Medical Center. This event was a culmination of months of effort, bringing joy and support to families facing challenging times.

A Day of Magic and Memories

The holiday party provided a much-needed celebration for 18 pediatric patients from the Hematology-Oncology unit. The room was filled with festive cheer as patients and their families enjoyed engaging activities and holiday treats.

Contributing to the festive atmosphere were more than 40 dedicated student volunteers from both Broward and Palm Beach campuses. These student leaders managed the event, ensuring every detail was perfect and providing personal connections to make the day special.

$10,000 in Gifts Spreading Hope

Following the successful Superhero Party and annual Gala, the Pre-Med Society utilized the funds raised to fulfill the children's holiday wishes. Students carefully selected and presented close to $10,000 worth of gifts, creating an unforgettable experience for the young patients and their siblings.

This generosity reflects the Pre-Medical Program's commitment to going beyond the classroom and empowering students to demonstrate leadership and compassion through meaningful, real-world service. The successful execution of the Superhero Party, the Gala, and the holiday party serves as a demonstration of the lasting values of the American Heritage Schools community.
