Make-A-Wish Club’s $5,927 Donation Grants Special Wish
The Make-A-Wish Club from American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, recently celebrated a significant accomplishment. The club presented a check for $5,927 to South Florida Make-A-Wish, marking the culmination of the school year’s dedicated fundraising efforts.
Jessica Rivera from South Florida Make-A-Wish was present to accept the donation. During the presentation, she revealed the wish the club's efforts had sponsored: sending Shayla, a 5-year-old battling leukemia, and her family to the theme parks in Orlando. This heartwarming announcement shows the club's impact in children's lives.
The club's officers, President Emma Pudney, Vice President Matthew Roisman, and Treasurer Santiago Quintero, proudly presented the check. Their leadership and the club members' collective efforts have made it possible to bring joy and hope to Shayla and her family.
We are incredibly proud of our Make-A-Wish Club for their hard work and commitment to such a noble cause and for making Shayla's wish come true.
