Investment Society Club Advances to Nationals in Personal Finance Challenge
American Heritage’s Business & Entrepreneurship Program proudly congratulates members of our Investment Society for their outstanding performance at the 2024 Personal Finance Challenge for the state of Florida. Led by teacher Rivana Stadtlander, our students have showcased their expertise in finance and established our Business program as a formidable competitor. Juniors Ian Lumer, Evan Soy, Gian Carlo Segebre, and Miguel Clavijo Mogollon emerged victorious at the Florida regional competition, securing their spot at the Nationals in Cleveland. Alongside them, Juniors Anik Bora and Simon Sandoval Vargas, as well as Sophomore Cecilia Gonzalez-Jiminez, achieved notable success in this inaugural event.
The National Personal Finance Challenge, sponsored by the Council for Economic Education, aims to equip young individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed financial decisions. As our students embark on this journey, they demonstrate their commitment to financial literacy and responsible money management. This competition not only enhances their understanding of economic principles but also empowers them to create a better future for themselves and their communities.
As our Investment Society prepares to compete at Nationals, we commend their dedication and hard work. Their participation in events like the National Personal Finance Challenge reflects our commitment to fostering excellence and providing opportunities for growth within our school community. We wish them the best of luck in Cleveland and look forward to celebrating their continued success!
