Elementary Math Team Advances to National Math Championship for the First Time
The Elementary Math Team achieved a significant milestone by winning the Math Madness Elementary Semi-Finals. This victory earned the team its first-ever spot in the Championship Round, confirming the students' hard work and commitment to mathematical excellence.
This achievement in the national Math Madness competition was fueled by exceptional individual performances. Special congratulations went to Zivah Cohen, Nickola Hart, Tyler Li, and Lincoln Sperry, all of whom achieved perfect scores during the Semi-Finals competition, leading the team to the final round.
The success of the Elementary Math Team continued in the Mathleague.org Elementary December Qualifier for the District Championship, where students secured numerous top placements. American Heritage students won 1st Place in every grade level category:
- Grade 4: Jay Narang
- Grade 5: Lincoln Sperry
- Grade 6: Kiara Gupta
These consistent victories in both national and district math competitions confirmed the depth of talent within the American Heritage Elementary Math Program and positioned the team for continued success in future academic events.
