Lower School Artists Recognized at Plantation Fire Safety Contest

The City of Plantation Fire Safety Month Poster Contest celebrated student creativity and fire safety awareness, and two talented Lower School students from American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, earned top honors!
This year's powerful theme, "Charge Into Fire Safety," inspired young artists across Plantation to create artwork promoting essential fire safety messages. The annual competition, organized by the City of Plantation Fire Department, is a key part of Fire Safety Month efforts to educate the community.
We are excited to congratulate our two winners:
- Belle Luan (Grade 5): 2nd place in the Grades 4-5 category.
- Alicia Rososhanskaia (Grade 3): 3rd place in the Grades K-3 category. Her winning poster creatively addressed the "Charge Into Fire Safety" theme.
Both contest winners were formally recognized for their achievements during a special ceremony at Plantation City Hall. These awards affirm the importance of teaching fire prevention and safety principles to children. We are incredibly proud of Belle and Alicia for representing our school and for helping spread the vital message of fire safety in Plantation.
