Fine Arts Students Capture Three Awards at the 2026 South Florida Cappies Gala

The Fine Arts Program at American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, achieved major recognition at the 24th annual South Florida Cappies Gala, held at the Au-Rene Theater within the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Recognized as the high school equivalent of the Tony Awards, the regional competition honors the absolute best in scholastic theater and technical production across Broward and Palm Beach counties.
The South Florida Cappies organization utilizes an intensive evaluation system where student critics and theatre educators review productions throughout the academic year. The final awards are determined by a comprehensive voting process across dozens of participating public and private programs.
The American Heritage cast, crew, and technical musicians secured a total of three major awards, affirming the program's standing as a premier training ground for the performing arts in Florida. The production's technical execution and performance depth earned top scores in highly competitive performance and instrumental categories.
