Drama Troupe Earned Five Superior Ratings at State Festival

The American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, Fine Arts Department celebrated a successful run at the Florida Senior Thespian State Festival held in Tampa. Troupe 3814 joined the best high school theater programs in the state to present a variety of performances and technical designs. Our students earned top marks in nearly every category they entered, bringing home five Superior ratings and one Excellent rating.
The festival's highest individual achievement went to Daniel Font-Wilets, who earned a Top Honors distinction alongside a Superior rating for his Solo Performance. This rare award placed his work among the elite theatrical performances in the state of Florida. His success served as a centerpiece for a weekend filled with artistic achievements.
The troupe proved its versatility by securing Superior and Excellent ratings in both performance and technical categories. The results included:

- Superior Rating - Large Group Musical (Company): Cassano, Robert Curtis, Taylor Curtis, Lindsay Dokson, Alanah Felix, Andrea Gonzalez Perez, Nandu Kuttiyl, Olivia Sofia Lopez, Diana Ramos Salinas, and Matthew Squeri
- Superior Rating - Solo Musical: Andrea Gonzalez Perez
- Superior Rating - Costume Design: Paloma Arrigui Villarreal
- Superior Rating - Make-up Design: Olivia Diez
- Excellent rating - Scenic Design: Lucas Mejia
These accolades reflected the hard work happening in the shop and during rehearsals. The judges noted the dedication, artistry, and collaborative spirit that defined Troupe 3814 throughout the three-day festival. We congratulate all our thespians for representing American Heritage.
