Junior Alina Sukhovskaya, from American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, has earned first place in an on-the-spot poster design contest at the Florida Association of Mu Alpha Theta (FAMAT) convention held in Orlando. Alina's creative talent shone as she tackled the challenge of interpreting the prompt “Math in the Wild West” within a 24-hour timeframe.

A panel of judges at the FAMAT convention evaluated the poster entries based on their visual appeal and the effective application of mathematical concepts and knowledge. Alina's winning design successfully combined artistic skill with mathematical understanding to capture the spirit of the prompt.

This achievement not only highlights Alina Sukhovskaya's individual talent but also reflects the creativity and teamwork fostered among the Mu Alpha Theta students at American Heritage Schools.
