AHS Tuition Grant (fka Financial Aid)

American Heritage Schools is pleased to announce our continued partnership with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. FACTS is an online tuition grant application company that we will be using to conduct a confidential needs assessment for families that would like to apply for financial assistance during the 2024/2025 school year.

American Heritage Schools provides financial assistance on the basis of demonstrated financial need and availability of funds without regard to race, religion, ethnic origin or disability. The American Heritage Tuition Grant assistance is for tuition only.

● Applications can be submitted online at the start of the Admissions process.

● 2022 Tax Return(s) will be required to complete this application.

● All other supporting documentation requested by FACTS must be provided promptly to avoid delay in your AHS Tuition Grant assessment.

● Incomplete applications with FACTS will not be considered for financial assistance.

● Both legal parents and/or guardians must each apply and submit supporting documentation to FACTS including but not limited to a copy of the Final Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage (if applicable) and/or the Parenting Plan Agreement including the Child Custody and Child Support documents showing parental responsibility is required.

● Single parent applications without proper documentation will NOT be considered for ﬁnancial assistance.

● The AHS Tuition Grant cannot be guaranteed for new students as a limited amount of funds are available.

● Decisions for new students will be made by the AHS Tuition Grant Committee.

● Any financial assistance provided by the school is for tuition only.

Returning Families

Submission of Completed Application and Supporting Documentation

Deadline is November 1, 2023

● 2022 Tax Return(s) will be required to complete this application.

● All other supporting documentation requested by FACTS must be provided promptly to avoid delay in your AHS Tuition Grant assessment.

● Both legal parents and/or guardians must each apply and submit supporting documentation to FACTS
(including but not limited to a copy of the Final Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage (if applicable) and/or the Parenting Plan Agreement including the Child Custody and Child Support documents showing parental responsibility is required.

● Single parent applications without proper documentation will NOT be considered for ﬁnancial assistance.

● Returning families will be notiﬁed via email after the school reviews your completed application with FACTS.

● The AHS Tuition Grant is limited and not guaranteed for returning families.

● Incomplete applications with FACTS will not be considered for the AHS Tuition Grant.

● It is your responsibility to ensure your FACTS application is completed with all supporting documentation uploaded by November 1, 2023.

There is a processing fee of $40.00 that must be paid directly to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment.

We feel that the success of our AHS Tuition Grant assistance program depends on the confidentiality of financial information. We expect that families will keep their financial award confidential as well. All application forms, tax information, and other related paperwork is held in the strictest confidence.

Awards may be withdrawn for failure to comply with confidentiality or if the school finds that you fail to disclose all relevant financial information used to make the financial assistance determination.

What are the requirements for Tuition Grants?

What documentation will I need to complete the application?

The required supporting documentation will be outlined at the beginning and end of the online application and is tailored specifically to what is entered on your application. Typically, FACTS requires your most recently filed 1040-tax form (or verification of non-filing status from the IRS), your most recent W-2 statements, your most recent pay stubs as well as documentation of the stated debt on your application. Other documentation may be required.
