Lower School Claims 1st Place at Mathleague State Championship

The Elementary Math Competition Team from American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, secured the state title at the 2026 Mathleague.org Elementary State Championship in Orlando, Florida. Facing top-ranked public and private mathematics programs from across the region, the Lower School Math Team earned the FIRST-PLACE TEAM TROPHY through exceptional performance in advanced logic, speed calculation, and quantitative problem-solving.
Advanced Analytical Foundation at the State Level
The Mathleague.org state series serves as a premier competitive arena for mathematically gifted elementary students. The rigorous tournament structure challenges participants across multiple demanding segments, testing individual sprint speeds, target accuracy, and collaborative team round logic.
By capturing the overall state championship, the Lower School Team has validated the depth and strength of its early foundational mathematics curriculum. Following their performance in Orlando, 11 individual student finalists have earned invitations to present their skills on the national stage at the upcoming Mathleague.org National Championship, scheduled in June at Texas A&M University.
