Junior High Mock Trial Team Wins 9th State Championship!
The American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, Junior High Mock Trial team triumphed in the state championship for the ninth consecutive year! Competing at this prestigious event were students from grades 7 and 8, showcasing their remarkable understanding of the legal system and their exceptional skills in simulated courtroom proceedings.
The team was expertly coached by the Honorable Francis Viamontes and Attorney Melisa McNeil, Chief of the Homicide Unit at the Law Offices of the Public Defender. Their guidance and mentorship played a crucial role in the team's success, helping the students hone their critical thinking, public speaking, and legal reasoning skills.
