Girls Soccer Secured Fourth Straight State Title

The American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, girls soccer team made history again by winning the 2026 FHSAA Class 4A State Championship. In a dominant performance at the state finals, the Patriots defeated Bishop Kenny with a 2-0 shutout. This victory marked the program's fourth consecutive state title, a rare "four-peat" that solidified the team’s status as a premier soccer powerhouse in Florida and across the country.

With this latest win, the American Heritage Girls Soccer Program reached a milestone of 15 overall state titles and two national championships. The team entered the tournament with a massive reputation, currently holding the #1 ranking in the nation. The win against Bishop Kenny showed why the Patriots are the top-ranked team; they controlled the pace of the game from start to finish.

The championship goals came from Ariana Doles and Emma Torres, who both found the back of the net to secure the lead. The defense remained impenetrable throughout the match, preventing any scoring opportunities for their opponents.

Coach Cindy Marcial, who has now led the program to nine state titles and one national championship during her career, praised the team’s focus. She noted that the players remained in control throughout the game and successfully locked in their lead toward the end of the second half.
