We are proud to announce that Calvin Mathew, Class of 2025 at American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, has secured 1st place - ​​Chemistry in Oral Presentations at the prestigious 62nd Annual National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS). Calvin's remarkable achievement is the culmination of his groundbreaking research project titled, "3D Printing Personalized Knee Implants: Novel Computational Geometric Models for Stem Cell Regeneration in Meniscus Tears." His innovative work has earned him not only the top spot but also a remarkable $12,000 scholarship!

The 62nd National JSHS brings together 245 high school students from across the nation. These students qualify by submitting and presenting original scientific research papers in regional symposiums held at universities nationwide. Calvin's exceptional research stood out among his peers and highlighted his dedication, creativity, and passion for STEM.

The National JSHS offers a platform for outstanding students like Calvin to showcase their STEM achievements and interact with world-class professionals and researchers. Through engaging activities, student research presentations, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies, participants enrich their JSHS experience and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
