What can you do with a business degree?

Running a business is about more than coming up with a great idea. Let’s say you have a product or an idea. You have to know how to write a business plan, raise capital to get started, and market the product to customers or clients. You also have to know how to manage employees, an office, and pay attention to all applicable laws and regulations for a particular industry.

The Business and Entrepreneurship Program will help you learn the concepts required to become an entrepreneur, or business mogul or something in between. There are several career paths one can take in business. Here are examples of business career paths.

  • Accountant
  • Actuary
  • Advertising Executive
  • Business Consultant
  • Business Developer
  • Business Reporter
  • Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  • Communications Manager
  • Financial Advisor
  • Financial Analyst
  • Healthcare Administrator
  • Human Resources Director/Manager
  • Investment Banker
  • Management Consultant
  • Marketing Director/Manager
  • Retail Store Manager/Owner
  • Operations Manager
  • Sales Director/Manager

If you are brave enough to strike out on your own, you can create a business doing what you love, whether you want to be a hairstylist or the next Steve Jobs, the proper foundation will get you there.
