Class of 2023 Seniors Celebrate Early College Acceptances to Elite Universities

American Heritage Schools is proud to announce that many of the students in its 2023 graduating class have received early acceptances to the nation’s finest colleges and universities throughout the U.S.

At American Heritage Schools, preparing for college begins as early as elementary school, and often by the time a student is a senior, he or she has selected a dream school. Many students choose to apply to their first-choice college through the early decision process and, again this year, many of these students received early acceptances to their first-choice schools.

2023 Presidential Scholars
2023 Presidential Scholars Candidates.

We are proud to announce that 23 students from the Class of 2023 (Broward Campus, 16 and Palm Beach Campus, 7) have been nominated for the Presidential Scholars award, making American Heritage Schools the No. 1 school in Florida for the highest number of Presidential Scholar candidates. Being named a U.S. Presidential Scholar is considered one of the nation’s most prestigious academic awards for high school graduates. You can see the full list of this year’s class here

  • The Broward campus is the #1 school in Florida with the highest number of Presidential Scholar candidates

  • The Palm Beach Campus is the #1 school in Palm Beach county and #2 private school in Florida with the highest number of Presidential Scholar candidates

  • 11% of all Presidential Scholar Candidates in the state of Florida are from American Heritage Schools.

2023 National Merit Scholars

Our seniors have done it again with the Broward campus being the #1 school in Florida and #2 private school in the nation and the Palm Beach campus being #2 in Florida and #5 private school in the nation with the highest number of National Merit Scholars Semifinalists. The students from both campuses comprise 10% of all semifinalists throughout the 2,227 public and private high schools in Florida. 

A combined total of 86 seniors were named National Merit Semifinalists out of the 16,000 semifinalists in the 67th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Additionally, 72 seniors received National Commended Scholar status.
