Each year, 100% of the senior class are accepted to colleges and universities; this was another banner year for top acceptances to the nation's finest colleges and universities.

Early College Acceptances at American Heritage School
#1 School In Florida
2022 National Merit Scholars

American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, is the #1 school in Florida and #2 private school in the nation for the highest number of National Merit Scholars Semifinalists; the school’s second campus in Palm Beach County is #2 in National Merit Scholars Semifinalists out of all schools in Florida and #5 private school in the nation for the highest number of National Merit Scholars Semifinalists; Their combined students from both campuses comprise 9 percent of all National Merit Scholars Semifinalists throughout the 2,227 public and private schools in Florida. 

A combined total of 77 seniors were named National Merit Semifinalists out of the 16,000 Semifinalists in the 67th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. This marks the 12th consecutive year American Heritage has had the highest number of National Merit Semifinalists in Florida. One in four students in the Class of 2022 scored in the top one percent of students in the nation.

We are proud to announce that 21 students from the Class of 2022 (Broward Campus, 13 and Palm Beach Campus, 8) have been nominated for the Presidential Scholars award, making American Heritage Schools the No. 1 school in Florida for the highest number of Presidential Scholar candidates. The U.S. Presidential Scholars is the nation’s most prestigious recognition for distinguished graduating high school seniors.
 
Achieving Presidential Scholar status is one of the highest academic honors bestowed upon a graduating high school student,” said Dr. Doug Laurie, president of American Heritage Schools. “We are proud to have 21 students qualify for this prestigious nomination. Each student exemplifies extraordinary achievements, strong character, and community involvement, and their work and continued pursuit of excellence are admired.
