Science Camp

Students at Science Camp

Your camper can experience hands-on lab experiments, field trips and and outdoor projects during three unique and distinctive 3-week sessions. The first session will focus on marine biology; the second session will explore the Everglades environment; and for the young scientist, the third session will bring chemistry and the physical sciences into focus with fascinating, fun laboratory experiments. For campers 8-14 years old

Video Camp

Students during video campCampers will create a short digital movie from start to finish using professional techniques and equipment. Topics include short film storyline and structure, shooting and editing the digital film, and analysis and critique. Campers write, shoot, edit, and receive a digital copy of their very own short film. During the second half of this 3-week session, campers will report, edit, and create features for their own pre-taped 15-minute web-based show. For campers 10-14 years old.

Young Artist Camp

Students making art Give your child the opportunity to let their imagination and creativity soar this summer at American Heritage’s Young Artists Camp. Instruction for Young Artists Camp is provided by professional art teachers and American Heritage counselors. Campers in this group spend each day exploring their creativity and individuality while working with a variety of visual arts media including drawing, painting, collage, ceramics, sculpture, mosaics and many more. They will also participate in a swim period and a free period, which includes sports and indoor activities as choices. Young Artists Camp is open to children ages 6-14.
