American Heritage School

Fine Arts Scholarship

Fine Arts Scholarships are granted to current 8th grade students who will be entering the 9th grade in 2017.

Fine Arts Scholarships are designed for the student who is dedicated to their art and possibly planning for a career in the arts. Each scholarship student's schedule will include two electives, as assigned, in the Fine Arts. Students on scholarship will be expected to be leaders in their discipline, both in and out of the classroom. After school performances will be required as part of the scholarship contract.

These scholarships are granted in five different disciplines, on an audition basis only. The audition requirements for each discipline are listed below.

Please note that to qualify for a fine arts scholarship a student must first be accepted into the school. We require all, students, who are not current American Heritage Students and who are not sitting for the academic scholarship test to complete the attached application. Please bring the completed application(Plantation Fine Arts Application.pdf) to your audition. The 2017 audition dates are posted below with the requirements of each discipline. Parents must register their student to take the audition. You may do so by calling Mr. Moccia at 954-472-0022 ext 3273 February 1st through February 17th, 2017.

*As mentioned above, these scholarships are intended for students who will be entering 9th grade in the fall. Occasionally, in the discipline of Musical Theater/Voice, we MAY have openings that will enable us to allow auditions for very talented students who are entering grades 10, 11, and 12.
