Welcome Doug Socha, Athletic Director

As you browse our web site, you will no doubt notice that we have a wide range of athletic activities for both boys and girls in grades 6 - 12, as well as Middle School, grades 6 - 8. We offer competitive sports opportunities in the following sports:

  • Football
  • Cheerleading
  • Boys and Girls Cross Country
  • Boys and Girls Swimming
  • Girls Volleyball
  • Boys and Girls Golf
  • Boys and Girls Basketball
  • Cheerleading
  • Boys and Girls Soccer
  • Wrestling
  • Baseball
  • Softball
  • Boys and Girls Tennis
  • Boys and Girls Track and Field
  • Boys Weight Lifting

Our major objectives are to teach responsibility, discipline, time management and the spirit of competition and good sportsmanship, all within a close knit family environment.

Our coaching staff, with a combination of over 100 years of coaching experience, has the capabilities necessary to lead student athletes through their years of athletic competition at American Heritage and beyond.

Each year we have numbers of student athletes receive financial help for their college education based on their athletic ability and their performance in our athletic programs. More importantly, however, for those who do not have the ability, or maybe desire, to participate at the collegiate level, we offer a very enjoyable and memorable experience in accomplishments and relationships that will last a lifetime.

We compete as a member of the Florida High School Activities Association and our athletics programs are consistently ranked in the Top 10 in the state of Florida!
