The Faculty

There are approximately 65 teachers and administrators within the Upper School and 55% hold a Masters or Doctoral Degree. Many of the faculty members have over 20 years of teaching experience and have distinguished themselves both academically and professionally in their field of expertise. Teachers of AP courses keep up-to-date by attending workshops in their field. The low student-teacher ratio maximizes the opportunity for teachers to share their broad knowledge of the subjects they teach.

Teachers are encouraged and supported in the pursuit of their professional development and there is frequent communication between faculty and administration to ensure optimum efficiency and results in the
classroom. Our faculty is considered to be professional, competent and caring by our students and their parents. Our faculty includes professionals including a practicing neurologist and attorney. This brings
resources and points of view uncommon to many high schools. Faculty turnover is minimal.
