Can my child benefit from American Heritage Summer School?

If your child has failed a credit course in high school or has been required by his/her current school to attend summer school in order to pass to the next grade level, summer school is a necessity. This student will benefit greatly from our program, developed to meet his/her academic needs. However, there are other students who can benefit from our summer academic program. Among them:

  • Students who are performing one or two years below grade level and cannot catch up during the regular school year because of crowded classrooms
  • Preschoolers who need "readiness skills" to succeed in kindergarten or first grade
  • High school students who want to advance academically by earning extra credits during the summer
  • Students for whom English is a second language
  • Elementary & Middle School/Junior High students who will gain an advantage from a variety of enrichment classes
  • Students who need practice and development of basic skills in math, reading and language arts
