New Facilities:

The new Upper School Library was planned and designed specifically with both the school’s educational goals and our students’ academic needs in mind. This 10,000-square-foot state-of-the-art Library houses over 150 computers; 4 interactive resource labs, serving to incorporate technology into every upper school classroom; 12-foot tables, equipped with electric and data ports, for collaborative research and study, as well as similarly equipped, lighted carrels for individual study.  Added features include wireless Internet access, a professionally staffed reference desk for optimum assistance, a separate station to monitor database progress and provide research guidance and a fully-automated circulation desk. The periodical lounge area provides comfortable seating and lighting as well as easy access to more than 50 current magazines; and, the college corner offers access to continually updated college materials, including practice exams, and a television for viewing college videos. Finally, the new Library hours have been extended to 6:00 p.m. for student convenience.
