Library Policies
- Sign-In -- Please sign in. In the event of an emergency or drill, it is imperative to know who is in the library building and at what times.
- Eating and Drinking in the Library -- Eating and drinking are not allowed in the Library. Please help us avoid ants, roaches, messy spill problems and resulting damage by keeping all foods, candies and beverages out of the library.
- Conduct -- Please conduct yourself as if you were in the classroom. Collaborative work is welcome as long as it does not interfere with the study, work and research efforts of others.
- Cell Phone Use -- Cell phones may not be used in the library. Please keep your cell phone off or on silent mode and in your book bag at all times.
- Acceptable Use Policy for Computing Resources -- Please read and become familiar with the School’s AUP for Computing Resources which can be found in your student handbook. You will be required to adhere to these policies in the library as well as in any of the campus’ computer labs.
- Photocopying -- Students are allowed to make photocopies of any and all reference and non-circulating library materials free of charge. Copies of notes, teacher handouts, textbooks and personal items are prohibited.
- Circulation: Your student ID card also serves as your library card and must be presented in order to check out library materials. A total of two nonfiction items may be checked out for a period of one week and may be renewed for an additional week if not on hold for another student. Fiction and leisure reading materials will be loaned for two-week periods.
- Overdue Materials and Fines: The Library staff currently chooses not to levy fines; however, please note that chronically overdue materials or disregard of due dates will result in loss of borrowing privileges.
