American Heritage has, thus far, competed in four Mu Alpha Theta Math Competitions earning “top ten” among all schools in the state in all four competitions and scoring twice as “Best Private School” in the state. Locally, the Heritage team has earned Best Private School in South Florida status in all four competitions.
The following students have qualified to take the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME): Candice Wen, David Raps, James Peng, Rohit Thummalapalli, Rishi Neeranjun, Rohith Reddy, Aaron Brookner, Blake Mandell, Tyler Webner, Kevin Perez- Zahr.
The follow students got top awards at the Math Competition in Orlando recently. Dylan Greaves, Aaron Brookner finishing 1st in Trig and Matrices/Vectors respectively. Other top finishers were Michael Deng, Rishi Neeranjun, Rohit Thummalapalli, Mike Farruggia, David Raps, Candace Wen, Tyler Webner, Blake Mandell, and Alek Zivkovic.
