The school's day population is culturally diverse with students representing 43 countries from around the world.  International students who choose to board are immediately immersed into American culture and language. In addition to a student's  regular academic classes, one to two hours of English language instruction is provided daily. Living with an American family produces more opportunity for language development and practice.

Boarding Arrangements
Students participating in the International Program are housed with families of American Heritage students or carefully selected local families. The families provide a safe, caring environment for students entrusted to them. Students are well-supervised at school and at home to ensure their safety and well-being. We believe that this type of living arrangement is most beneficial to students enrolled in this program. The family unit provides warmth and support not found in traditional boarding programs.
