As you browse our website, you will notice that American Heritage School offers a wide range of athletic opportunities for both Boys and Girls in Grades 7-12 We offer the following competitive 15 sports:
Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Diving, Football, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, Track & Field, Volleyball, Weightlifting, and Wrestling.
Our major objectives are to teach responsibility, discipline, time management, and the spirit of competition and good sportsmanship, all within a close-knit family environment.
Our coaching staff, with a combination of over 100 years of coaching experience, has the desire and skills necessary to lead student athletes through their years of athletic competition at American Heritage School and on to the collegiate level.
Each year, numbers of student-athletes receive college scholarships based on their athletic abilities and performances during their "playing days" at American Heritage School. Last year, we had 18 major-college athletic scholarships signed!
- Ranked the number 7 high school in the nation by Sports Illustrated in 2008
- 4 State Titles in Each Sport for the School Year 08/09 (Girls Golf, Girls Soccer, Girls Softball, Girls Tennis)
- 7 District Championships for the School Year 08/09
- 8 Alumni Playing Professional Sports
- 2 National Championship Titles
- 8 Times AHS won Broward County All-Sports Title
