8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Junior Program 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM

If needed, early drop-off is available at 8:00 AM. Extended day care is also available until 5:30 PM. Our three and four year old campers have the option of enrolling in a half-day program, which dismisses at 1:30 PM.

FACILITIES

The camp is located on 40 scenic acres in Delray Beach, Florida. Our facilities include a brand new gymnasium/auditorium complex, an Olympic size pool, Junior Camp teaching pool, six tennis courts, two outdoor basketball courts, air-conditioned dining hall, two state-of-the-art computer labs, indoor game room, video arcade, spacious air-conditioned cabins, plus acres of beautifully manicured fields including baseball/softball and four multipurpose athletic fields.

CAMP STAFF

A highly qualified, well-trained and mature staff is essential for the success of any program. We maintain a high staff to camper ratio for the benefit of our campers. We have brought together a group of coaches and counselors who are friendly, responsive, understanding, and able to provide campers with leadership and guidance. Most of our staff members are college age or older and have been a part of our camp family for four or more years. Staff members have been carefully screened by us as well as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Our paid staff members are assisted by volunteer CIT’s (Counselor in Training), many of whom attend American Heritage during the school year. CIT’s are 14 - 15 years of age and are trained in safety and camp policies.

CABINS/GROUPINGS

American Heritage Summer Day Camp specializes in summer fun for children ages 3 - 13 years of age. Our youngest campers must turn 3 before beginning camp and also be potty-trained. Children are grouped according to their current year in school. Cabins for ages 3 - 5 are co-ed, while ages 6 - 13 have separate boys’ and girls’ cabins. Each age level enjoys age appropriate sports, arts, games, and other activities supervised by our highly qualified staff. All cabins (which are classrooms during the year) are air conditioned.

$780.00 per session
After care :
$100.00 per session or $10 per day
Transportation :
$160.00 per week round trip
1/2 day Junior Program (3 and 4 year olds) :
$640.00 per Sessions 1 - 4
$320 Session 5

A $300 deposit is required for each camper and must accompany the application. This deposit is credited toward the total tuition.

Bus Transportation

The cost of bus transportation is $320 per 2 week session/per camper or $160 per week. Busses and vans are air-conditioned and driven by personnel with appropriate licenses. Transportation is available from most locations in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Free Express Bus Service is available to Wellington and Parkland areas. Note: Times of pick-up and drop off may change from session to session.
