Welcome from our Headmaster

Mr. Robert Stone is the Headmaster of American Heritage School of Boca/Delray. He received his BA from Tufts University, a law degree from the University of Miami and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. For a number of years, he practiced real estate law with the prestigious Palm Beach law firm of Wien, Malkin and Bettex and was also a licensed Realtor.
Disenchanted with practicing law, Mr. Stone turned to his love of children as the inspiration for a career change. He had an interest in children and a respect for the positive role that athletics could play in their young lives. At several local schools, he coached young athletes in football and soccer. In 1983 he founded the All-Star Sports Camp, which became the area's most highly regarded summer sports camp.

After more than a decade of working with students in a recreational setting, Mr. Stone became aware of the need for an educational program which would offer the children of the area a quality college preparatory program in a well-rounded environment. In 1994, he founded the All-Star Academy. It was Mr. Stone's goal to establish an excellent educational program staffed by the finest teachers and capable, experienced administrators on a safe and pleasant campus. In achieving his goals, he was assisted by partners, Leon Gabay and Robert Hausman. The school quickly grew to 650 students in preschool through twelfth grade. To expand the educational and extracurricular opportunities available to his students, he entered into a joint venture with American Heritage School of Plantation in 1999, and the school adopted the Heritage name.

Bob Stone is well known for the individual interest he takes in his students, their parents and his staff members. He is committed to close school to home communication to better serve the needs of American Heritage students. His door is open to parents and students alike as he continues to strive for excellence.
